Description
JOM Pharmaceutical Services Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for an Inventory and Operations Analyst, located in Shepherdsville, KY.
The Inventory and Operations Analyst is responsible for all inventory activities to include: cycle counting, adjustments, audits, reconciliation, analysis and related interface with various departments including Customer Contact Center and Operating Company planning departments. Collect and analyze data related to the efficient movement and accuracy of inventory in the JOM Distribution Center. Lead quality and continuous improvement projects. Work with management to implement corrective actions plans based on slotting analysis, trend analysis and forecasting, etc. This role will also serve as a main Distribution team member for system implementation projects. The individual in this position will be expected to effectively communicate such information as necessary. Upon specific assignment and when required for business needs, a specific subset of objectives may be assigned. Under these specific objectives, the JOM Distribution System Analyst assigned will be responsible for satisfying and fulfilling general distribution transactions in support of daily operations and activities.
Process related responsibilities include: Assisting in investigation of inventory discrepancies found during picking and replenishment, cycle count planning, applying and investigating, accept cycle count variances that have been approved by the JOM Distribution Management. Reconcile inventory discrepancies, participate in investigation of short-pick process; short-pick process picking, communicating and labeling, and facilitate systematic returns. Own and monitor system synchronization report (SAP vs. MARC) to ensure system synchronization and transition to Super User when MARC is implemented, own and monitor all inventory reports, develop ad-hoc reports for metrics, DEA compliance, Lean projects, etc. Execute first-time SKU setup process; determine put-away and slotting strategy, execute changes to slotting strategy based on periodic basis, slotting analysis, oversee and audit hold/release process. Audit the execution of lot status changes to ensure they are accurate
Oversee/execute quarantine activities, assist with returns, expired product, etc. and generation of all SOX documentation and reporting.
System related responsibilities include: Assist in the development of requirements for system related changes, set up MARC change control configuration (Pack Factors, Work Director, etc.). Set up systematic Temp Tale and Tag Alert ranges, create systematic home zones and modify locations, participate in key strategic WMS platform changes and participate in system integration testing. Provide staff and users with assistance solving system related issues, serve as a SME during roundtable discussions for J&J strategic system standardization, applies Process Excellence tools and methodology to identify, evaluate, and recommend business process and system improvement opportunities. Conduct root-cause analysis to drive improvement in system related activities, continually improves expertise in process improvement techniques and teaches process improvement techniques to others. Mentors others in developing new skills, in understanding company and industry dynamics, and in strengthening team relationships and provide support in system related audits.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor s degree, preferably in Logistics, Business, Operations, Engineering or related field, or High School Diploma/GED and 10
years of equivalent work experience in manufacturing, distribution, or related field is required. A minimum of 5 years of Senior Warehouse Operator relevant experience or 3 years of professional level relevant experience in Inventory or Operations (i.e., cycle counts, managing accurate inventory records, performing miscellaneous inventory adjustments for quarantine or product holds), Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or regulated environment is required. Previous experience in a Pharmaceutical environment is preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills. Must demonstrate the ability to work under time constraints and manage complexity. Must demonstrate a sense of urgency; motivated by the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required. Basic knowledge of statistics is preferred. Knowledge of Minitab and Visio preferred. Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Platforms or Warehouse Management Systems (i.e. MARC, SAP) is required. Experience collaborating with all levels of management in a cross-functional team environment is required. Project management experience preferred. Knowledge of Process Excellence/Six-Sigma tools and methodology preferred. Process Excellence/Six Sigma certification preferred. Knowledge of SOX requirements preferred. The ability to operate and/or be trained and certified to operate a forklift is preferred.

The work environment is a normal office and Distribution/Warehouse environment. The employee must have the ability to operate a phone, computer, and fax machine.
