JOM Pharmaceutical Services, Inc., a member of Johnson and Johnson's Family of Companies, is seeking a Warehouse Associate II to work in Shepherdsville, KY.
The Warehouse Operator Level II is dedicated towards the accurate and timely distribution of pharmaceutical products, medical devices and diagnostics, raw materials/components, samples, and literature. The position is responsible for picking, packing, receiving, cycle counting, put away, and shipping of inventory. The operator maintains relationships with distribution and customer service areas, follows regulatory and safety procedures, and performs assignments with necessary technology and equipment. Exceeds performance standards as a Level I Operator and consistently meets performance level required of a Level II. The successful candidate must be Qualified in 75% of their respective operation with knowledge of all SOPs for qualified areas, demonstrates proficiency in performance responsibilities, and has knowledge of JOM Distribution Company Policies and Rules. Packs orders according to established procedures with special attention to preventing loss or damage, applies appropriate labels as required for shipping and systems interface, picks orders for Product, Components, and Literature as required according to established procedures. The operator checks orders during picking to ensure accuracy, assists in unloading material (trade, literature, components) received and loading material to be shipped in accordance with SOPs for a particular area.
Additional responsibilities include operating systems and equipment necessary to process orders, i.e. MARC, labelers, material moving equipment, manifest system and assists or conducts cycle counts in required areas. Understands PDP process, prepares individual PDP with goals, presents accomplishments and updates, demonstrates active participation in communication process within the team environment as minute taker or facilitator in mass team meetings, sub-team meetings, communication meetings and safety meetings, etc. Interfaces with internal and external customers as needed (i.e. Works with vendors ordering supplies and services needed for the operation) and assists in the training of all distribution personnel with knowledge of JOM Distribution and Company policies and rules.
Qualifications
A minimum of a High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Distribution, Warehouse, or Manufacturing environment is required. Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, and/or a Manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience in an FDA and/or GMP regulated environment is highly preferred. Previous experience driving forklifts is preferred. The willingness to learn to drive forklifts and operate warehouse machinery is required. Experience utilizing and understanding Standard Operating Procedures is required. The ability to communicate effectively in English, willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends when necessary are also required. The ability to do simple math, count accurately, read and write legibly, ability to function in a high volume Logistics operation, good verbal communication skills are all required. Collaboration skills, the ability to contribute positively to the morale of the team, maintains a safe, quality-minded and customer-focused mentality, acts with flexibility and sense of urgency; takes direction and accomplishes tasks quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality is required.
Previous Experience working on Lean, Six Sigma, or other structured projects is preferred. The ability to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs. on an intermittent basis and able to push/pull/lift up to 35 lbs. on a repetitive, regular basis are required. The ability to stand and/or walk more than 90% of the time, able to bend/twist and form repetitive tasks is also required. The ability and willingness to work in a freezer at ? to -15 C (23 to 5 F) for up to 1 hour at a time plus willingness and ability to work in a refrigerated environment at 2-8 C (35.6 to 46.4 F) is also required.
The work environment is a normal warehouse setting. Travel is not required for this position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This position is part of a business expansion and will start in a day shift capacity either 5 days a week, 8 hours a day or 4 days a week, 10 hours a day during training with the long term expectation of moving to a 2nd shift role in the August timeframe.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
